Servodan now takes the next step in its branding strategy. Thus the name will change to Niko-Servodan A/S and Niko will become a more dominant part of the logo. The formal name change is set for March 1. The new name and logo will be implemented over a longer period of time – and with only limited changes in the graphical identity, which is already aligned with Niko.
Therefore short term the changes will have very limited influence on the daily business. The company, its competences and the strong product portfolio will continue as before.
The background for the name change is Belgian Niko Group’s ownership of the company since 2008. Under the ownership of Niko Group Niko-Servodan has developed into a strong centre of competence for lighting control. This has resulted in an attractive product range and a strong market position.
Already today there are a few Niko products in the product portfolio. Over the years this will be expanded with Niko’s high quality range of switches, sockets and home automation.
A modernization of the headquarters in Sønderborg is to be started in April to make it reflect the customer-centric and innovative Niko-Servodan.
